23th November 2016 - Church Commissioners Annual Reception | Houses of Parliament
The Church Commissioner's welcomed delegates of all faiths and none to the Houses of Parliament to discuss the work of the Church Commissioners and the Church of England's outreach programme; Near Neighbours. In attendance at the event was the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Rt. Hon. Sajid Javid MP, who spoke of DCLG's support for the programme.

25th July 2016 - APPG on Faith and Society | 'Statement of Hope'
The Second Church Estates Commissioner, Caroline Spelman welcomed the publication of the ‘All Party Parliamentary Group on Faith and Society’s ‘Statement of Hope’. The statement was realised in order to help tackle growing concerns around social and economic disparity and uncertainty.

19th July 2016 - Full Community Sponsorship Programme
The Second Church Estates Commissioner, Caroline Spelman, reaffirmed her commitment to supporting the Government action to resettle 20,000 refugee’s at the launch of the new ‘Full Community Sponsorship Programme’ with Home Secretary Amber Rudd and Archbishop Justin Welby at Lambeth Palace.
